Bub-Ba-Q in Jasper

OMG DELICIOUS!!! And very nice staff :-)

Got some pulled pork and fries to go, when we get home to eat it the pulled pork is not flavorful at all and the BBQ sauce is so thin it wseemed watered down. The fries were cold and they tasted like sweet potato fries. We also purchased buns from them that were as hard as a rock. Was not worth the $ we payed for this.

I rode my bike there 2.6 miles. They gave me a small water. Thankful & Hydrated

The brisket was perfect.The Mac n cheese was good.The ribs were over cooked. Nice staff though.

Amazing food and amazing service! We got a side of fried pickles, and we got so many. You pay for what you get. Everyone was very friendly too!

Love the food and people. It was even better seeing they were trying to get the officers in to warm up after being in the snow and ice all day. Huge applause for taking care of everyone.

Best BBQ period, anywhere, any time. Hands down. Smoked just right. Brisket is off the charts. Fries are fries. Try the potato salad instead. The stuffed spud is huge and really good. I always take home a bottle of the sweet sauce. They do offer a lunch special with a sandwich, side and a drink. Great outdoor seating with live music some nights.

Mercy it was good! Pet friendly outside dining, which was very nice. Music was great and not extremely loud. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

The sauces were, the ribs could have been cooked better, a little burnt at the bottom. The werent fall of the bone ribs but they were ok

The service was very good. The food was very good, although the bbq was cold upon arrival, they quickly replaced it to our satisfaction. This was the 1st time I had ever eat here, and will definitely go back if I'm in that area again.

Great beer selection, but wished the bbq was just as good. The brisket portions were very big, but they were quite dry. Mac n cheese was tasty but over cooked pasta. I thoroughly enjoyed the beans. Could have eaten a big ol bowl of it.

Yummmmmmmmmm! This place knows good food! BBQ, collards (got a little kick to em) and tater salad were amazing! Wasn’t a huge fan of the Carolina Sauce... a little too much mustard but still ok! Friendly staff and good down home atmosphere!

Took over a hour to get food and then it was cold. The ribs were over cooked. They aren’t cleaning the sauce bottles either. Find a better place, it won’t be hard

Nothing special, but having outdoor seating in a corner that allowed us to corral a bunch of rowdy kids was nice, and I'm sure the other guests were appreciative for that as well.

Can't say enough good things about Bub-Ba-Q .. food is awesome! Always fresh, hot and delicious! The ribs are outstanding! Staff is always friendly and the place is always clean. We go to the Woodstock location frequently and came to the Jasper today and the food, staff and establishment are all equally as good. Tried the Hog-AChong-A and was very good. Great BBQ at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this place if you like good BBQ!

What has happened! Was the best in Ga. Last three times it just got worse. Food tasted days old today. Couldnt even finish. Done.

Excellent service and food! Only ever had one negative experience here but it was made up for by the end of our meal! Eat anywhere enough and you'll see the good and the bad, but this place has an excellent track record of good food an excellent service!

The awards aren't there just for looks. The barbeque is that good. The brisket I had was lean and delicious. Fried pickles and sides were great, and the sauces were all unique and more flavorful than those at some of the other BBQ places out there.

Always great food and friendly staff, the hogachonga is my go to meal and the bubba penos are awesome.

I'll start by saying I love the food at Bub-ba-q and have been there more than once. However I don't anticipate that I will be eating there again. Every time I have eaten there, I cannot escape Fox "news" on their televisions and despise the propaganda put out by them. The owners don't seem concerned they are in essence pushing a political agenda that many find cruel and unworthy of this country. My conscious cannot allow me to continue supporting this restaurant If I have to listen to Fox every time I am there.

We had high hope but this turned out to be just OK BBQ. Pulled pork was dry and lacked flavor, brisket was either over injected or had been resting in juice pan, it really tasted and had more consistency of pot roast. Dry rub ribs were good. Sides were good but nothing jumped out. Perfectly OK stop if u are in the area seeking BBQ, but we wouldn't go out of our way to seek it out.

Service person was very nice and attentive. However, meal didn't reflect the trophies and awards displayed throughout the establishment. Ribs were totally crunchy (over cooked), baked beans were cold, fries greasy and only warm. Without the nice server would have been 1 star.

Food was delicious and service was excellent.

Was not very impressed and quite disappointed with this place. Was clean and service was above average. But the food was awful. I ordered the Hog-a-Chong it had a very unpleasant taste in the sauce. Not sure what is was but it did not make me want to continue eating it. My husband got the pork and chicken combo the meat was dry and had very little taste and cold. The Texas toast was a piece of bread with butter in it. It was not toasted. The portion was not worth the money spent.

I've had better. The ribs were dry and only lukewarm. Baked beans were good. But Biguns down the road is far better.

Competition level bbq and great service every time!

Delicious! We were so thankful they are open on a Sunday evening too. Good service, good food and friendly service. We will be coming back.

Have only eaten here once (visiting from out of town). My parents eat here a lot. Very good - BBQ pulled pork was great! A little disappointed in veggies overall (green beans, fried okra) - not much flavor. Coleslaw very good. Service very good!

BBQ sauce is good! The pulled pork is good. The chicken sandwich is just okay. The chicken is chucked and not shredded. It was pretty tough and dry without the BBQ sauce. The brisket is much better. Fries were good and so was the fried mac n cheese. but the regular mac n cheese doesn't seem homemade.

Solid bbq, enjoyed the ribs. I would recommend to anyone looking for some good food and solid service.

The pulled pork sandwich is pretty good! Soft, and tender, still tasty fresh and warm when we went at 3 PM. The sweet sauce was pretty good and the sweet corn nuggets/fizzle. Sweet tea was pretty good the place is clean.

Delicious and unusual dishes, like the chili topped chimichanga stuffed with barbecue & the Big B, a beef brisket sandwich with fried onion straws & pepper jack cheese (my favorite).

Personally I feel they are unequipped to handle the amount of business they receive. Tried to call in an order and was put on hold and forgotten about for 15min and had to go order in person. They failed to complete the order and we had to go back and get the rest of our food. Moral of the story it’s a good place as long as you can dine in so that you can make sure all your food is there but 10/10 would not recommend ordering take out.

They have some if the best ribs i have ever put in my mouth!! So good and nice staff!!
